Noise
Short Film
Noise is a short film I made for a digital media project course. I had to come up with a story, write a screenplay, shoot, edit, and act in it. Once I completed the class, I submitted this
film in multiple film festivals and won awards
and nominations for it. I used Adobe Premiere Pro to do all the post production work.
Triadic Rabbit
Album Cover
This is an album cover for a fictional band called Triadic Rabbit. I used Adobe Illustrator
to design this piece. I was inspired by a triadic color scheme on the color wheel and wanted
to incorporate that into a band name. Rabbits are one of my favorite animals and I had pet rabbits for over ten years, so I wanted to highlight them. The record label, Sun Burst Records is also fictitious. For this logo I
wanted to utilize bright colors to represent
the type of music this label releases.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith-Vega
Wedding Invitation
This is a wedding invitation I designed for a friend of mine who got married a couple of months ago. The bride and groom's names have been changed
for their privacy. I worked with the bride and the vision she had. Gold, black, and red were the colors for the wedding, so the bride wanted for the invitation to match that theme. I used Adobe InDesign to create this piece.
Pizza Asteroid
Business Card
This is the front and back designs of a business card I made for a nonexistent restaurant called Pizza Asteroid. I made this piece in Adobe Illustrator. I was inspired by the pizza restaurant in the Toy Story movies called Pizza Planet when I came up with the name Pizza Asteroid. For the logo, I wanted to showcase that this is
a fun restaurant to eat at by using bright colors and designing it in a cartoon style. For the business card I wanted it to be easy to read with a dark blue background to resemble
outer space.
5G Pioneers
Motion Tracking
This is a demonstration of motion tracking using Adobe After Affects.
I made this for a communicating with motion graphics course. I was given
a few video clips and texts to choose from as an advertisement for a company called Iugo Wireless. The Iugo Wireless logo was also supplied to me. My task was to have the words I chose, "5G pioneers" track the motion of somewhere in the video. I chose the man's phone.
Paint LA Blue Tour
Concert Poster
This is a concert poster I made for a music artist I made up. I made this piece in Adobe Photoshop. I downloaded the image of the singer from a free use website, but added a blue tint overlay. I wanted to feature both historical and newer venues across LA County while using a limited color palette.
Not Your Grandma's
Digital Ad
This piece is a digital advertisement
I made for a senior design capstone course. I was given a body bar company called Not Your Gramma's, but for my portfolio I changed it to Not Your Grandma's to have creative ownership.
I had to create a digital ad that would direct users to the company's website.
I made this piece using Adobe Illustrator and downloaded the image of soap bars from a free use website.
Robby's
Infographic
This piece is an infographic I made for a brand development course. I was given a restaurant called Bobby's, but for my portfolio I changed it to Robby's to have creative ownership. I
had to distinguish what the core components were of Robby's brand and come up with ways
to attract new customers. I made this infographic using Adobe Illustrator and downloaded images from a free use website.
Summer Film Fest
Billboard
This piece is a billboard mockup I made for a film festival I came up with. I made this piece in Adobe Illustrator and downloaded the image of the billboard from a free use website. I designed the billboard to showcase bright and loud colors for that summer feel. I also designed a film reel in the shape of an orange.
Solar System
Animation
This piece is a solar system animation I made using Adobe After Effects. I made this for a communicating with motion graphics course.
I had to create a space background, the sun, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Earth's moon in Adobe Illustrator. I then had to upload the planet and moon illustrations to After Effects and have them rotate around the sun in a realistic way.
